Lauren Johnson, LMSW

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

A Destrehan native, Lauren received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Seton Hall University and a Master of Arts degree in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago. She has worked in the nonprofit and education sectors for over a decade with a particular focus on youth development and school-based programs. Lauren oversees day-to-day internal and external operations, working to grow the CARE Center's programs and services for the benefit of children and families across the parish.

Jillique Logan

PROGRAM MANAGER

Jillique, an alumna of Xavier University of Louisiana, is a St. Charles Parish resident and mother of two. Jillique has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and extensive experience in working with underserved communities across the New Orleans area. Jillique has previously worked as an educator, both as a teacher and an interventionist, and also has experience in the healthcare field assisting low to no income families with accessing affordable healthcare.

Anna Moses

PROGRAM COORDINATOR

Anna received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from LSU and has several years of experience working with children with special needs, particularly those with autism spectrum disorder, both as an educator and behavior interventionist. Anna is passionate about working with children and families, ensuring their voices are heard and needs are met.

Allison Scott

PROGRAM MANAGER

Allison is a parent residing in St. Charles Parish. She received a Bachelor's in Child Behavioral Development from the University of New Orleans. She has over 10 years of experience in the nonprofit sector as an Outreach Coordinator and in Volunteer Support. She devoted to providing guidance and direction for families and young people.

Ashley Schwertz, LMSW

PROGRAM MANAGER

Ashley is a resident and former educator of St. Charles Parish with twelve years of experience working with children and families through the public school system. She received a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Louisiana State University and a Master of Social Work from Campbellsville University.
