Lauren Johnson, LMSW
A Destrehan native, Lauren received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Seton Hall University and a Master of Arts degree in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago. She has worked in the nonprofit and education sectors for a decade with a particular focus on youth development and school-based programs. Lauren oversees day-to-day internal and external operations, working to grow the CARE Center's programs and services for the benefit of children and families across the parish.

Sophia Lawson-Cornish is a social justice-driven human services professional with a degree in International Politics and Human Rights from the University of California--San Diego. Informed by over 10 years of direct service provision among displaced and migratory communities, she applies an interdisciplinary, Human Rights-based approach to supporting community members as they meet their capacity to aspire! At the CARE Center, Sophia provides service and system navigation to court-involved youth and their families.
